Dr. Manrique is the Lead Provider for the Atlanta Osteoarthritis Center.
He is personable and spends quality time with our Patients to get to know them and to listen to their unique situation and provides effective solutions to joint pain while considering other factors that may be affecting their situation.
With more than 27 years of medical experience, Dr. Manrique applies his extensive field experience to the diagnosis and treatment of his patients. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Manrique graduated from the University of Miami Medical School in 1982 and has been practicing clinical medicine over a span of 32 years.
His experience encompasses Primary Care and Emergency Medicine. This included Family Medicine, General Practice, Preventive Medicine, Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Manrique has experience and training that is broad based and included Critical Care, General Surgery, Trauma, Major Burns, Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Kidney Transplant, General Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Manrique is well versed on clinical care and medical management of emergencies, disease management and prevention. He has followed evidence-based medicine in the care of all patients.
Dr. Manrique is a qualified General Practice / Family Medicine Provider. He provided medical care in his primary care practice for over 10 years.
Dr. Manrique has also served as an Advisor to Optum360, Executive Health Resources, reviewing detailed medical charts of hospitalized patients to determine medical necessity as to whether patients were appropriate for observation services versus inpatient services, and generated support documentation for hospital Case Management.
Dr. Manrique’s broad clinical knowledge base and experience is well suited for the ability to review patient medical records in a vast variety of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings.
He is a Diplomate for the National Board of Medical Examiners and is licensed in Medicine and Surgery in Georgia.
He is a member of the American Professional Practice Association, the Southern Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
